They used to download beats on SoundClick for 99 cents, they had to exclusive rights for $100 but couldn't afford it. He started to make beats for Dem Savages because he already knew how to use the piano from playing in churches. Then he started to download programs online that put the two together. His team was associated with the Rich Kidz and they didn't have beats either so he made beats for them. Soon, others started asking him for beats and wasn't charging them, he just wanted to get his name out there. The first song he produced to be heard on the radio was "Pieon" by Rich Kidz and it motivated London to keep going. In 2008 or 2009, he recorded his first collaboration with Young Thug, "Curtains", back in his house. He didn't stop giving out beats until his first label deal with Cash Money Records.
